Well, that was fast. Two styles from Victoria Beckham’s new handbag line went up for sale on Net-a-Porter this morning, and one is already sold out.
Sharp shoppers snapped up all available leather and nubuck shoulder bags within an hour of the item appearing on the site.
There’s one style remaining – the hexagonal chain crocodile bag – but at £8,950, it’s not what we’d consider an impulse buy. Although the two-tone wonder won’t reappear, expect to find five more of Ms B’s bags online from February.
UPDATE: We received word from Net at 1:45 that the second bag, which we anticipated might stick around a bit longer, has also now sold out. What Christmas rush?

And Mary was launched in 2009 by Alison and McNeil.
Alison had been lured back up to the Highlands of Scotland, by the ruggedly Handsome McNeil and the promise of a dog called Elvis, after many years living a fanciful single life in London. Alison had always had two main loves in life; the first was enjoying great food and drinks with wonderful friends and family. The second was vintage fashion and trawling the many antique and vintage markets in London and Paris. Always in search of a hidden treasure that had many stories to tell or, alternatively, one of her famous bargain polyester printed dresses.
After taking on a new job selling gorgeous clothing to the many lovely boutiques and independent retailers in Scotland, Alison discovered that they were in need of some quirky but beautiful jewellery and accessories. They needed to be good quality yet still reasonably priced and most importantly to offer customers a unique and individual alternative to what was available on the High Street.
Soon the time that was once spent in bars in the big smoke became time spent designing and creating what has now become the And Mary range. The kitchen table was quickly transformed from a place to eat to a hive of jewellery making activity. Mimi was founded in 2001 by London based designer Mimi Berry. The original Mimi store is situated on Cheshire Street (just off Brick Lane) and is home to Berry’s studio where the entire Mimi collection is designed and housed.
A graduate of Central Saint Martins, and regular exhibitor at London Fashion Week, Berry has acquired an international reputation for her commitment to classic craftsmanship and stylish understated design. The Mimi store with its wooden floors, gilded mirrors, traditional English haberdashery cabinets and industrial light fittings, is an eclectic feast for the eye and a treat for any handbag collector.
Each season Mimi launches a new collection for both men and women, which includes everything from sleek weekend bags, sturdy satchels and gorgeous clutch bags, to a diverse selection of ladies leather purses. The range uses beautiful colors throughout, including scarlet reds, yellows, rich browns and bright metallics. All Mimi pieces are made from exquisite Italian leather and are manufactured in the United Kingdom to ensure the highest production quality and ethical standards.
Mimi sells in select boutiques in London, the UK and Europe, as well as internationally in the US, Japan and Australia.
In 2007 Berry was commissioned by Tate Britain to design a unique collection of leather bags, purses and cardholders to be sold exclusively at Tate shops. The Mimi For Tate collaboration was so successful that the range remains ongoing with new styles launched seasonally.

We will be keeping you up to date with fashion, beauty and celebrities! After all these are the things that keep us girls going. Is it me or has this felt like the longest winter since records began?? Well winter is almost over; the daffs have started popping up everywhere and the sun has started to shine.
The Spring/Summer collection has started to arrive online and Easter is just around the corner – Yippee!!!
We will be telling you news we think you may want to hear about: Celebrity gossip, most wanted, ways to wear trends and ‘We love their look’ specials, which will consist of pics of you and your friends looking super stylish, so please email photo’s of you and your friends on a night out.
