Have you got it yet? Okay, we’ll give you a clue. She has a wardrobe that puts Barbie to shame, drives a pink convertible Bentley and has a multi-story home for her seventeen pet Chihuahuas. So who is this saucy leather-clad minx, you ask? This, ladies and gents, is PARIS HILTON.

Honestly, it really is her.
Those clever people at V Magazine have rendered everyone’s favourite squillionairess entirely unrecognisable, kitting her out in kinky clobber and framing her pouty features with a blunt fringe and poker-straight locks. Blimey. Just check out the provocative pose above that sees her in nothing but a Versace leather jacket and thigh-high snakeskin Alexander McQueen boots. Is anyone else reminded of a hybrid between a raunchy Bridget Bardot and raunchier Taylor Momsen?

Or how about this topless shot featuring an oversized Yōji Yamamoto coat and bondage straps at the waist (in fact, that’s a couture headpiece by Heather Huey, Paris). Well, we say, fierce, fierce, FIERCE! And isn’t it maaarvelous to see her going futuristic and edgy rather than Barbie-tastic? Even despite that slightly freakish doll-like stare…
So prepare to see even more of her dark side as The World According To Paris hits our telly boxes this year. ‘I get to use my real voice,’ the 30-year-old says of the project. ‘I love it because it’s showing more of the real me, as a business woman. I wanted to show what it’s like to be in my world.’ And what is it like, Ms Hilton? ‘I’m very fun, and I’m very daring. I don’t copy anybody,’ she says. ‘I’m like my own Barbie doll!’
Ah yes, something’s never change…

The first line from Gucci’s 2012 collection is their always chic resort line, created by the ultra genius Frida Giannini. The looks are beautifully filled with gold’s, nudes and colour blocking.

In 2006, after working her way to the top at Gucci, Frida Giannini became the creative director for the entire brand. She is also responsible for the new concept of the Gucci stores and ad campaigns which include Claire Dane’s and James Franco.

Though I’m not completely obsessing over all of the pieces, the collection is beautiful and showcases perfect touches of resort inspired style. I simply cannot wait to see what other amazing designs are to come from Gucci, especially with their 90th birthday quickly approaching. Do you love this resort collection?

Are you going baaannnaaannnaaasssss for Rachel Zoe’s debut line???!! I am!! I’ve seen the Look Book and I could D.I.E. The boho-glam, the 70′s style silk blouses with bows and tiered ruffle dresses, that’s the Zoe we know, but in an inspired turn of events, Rachel has decided to go in a slightly different direction. Though you can almost always count on Rachel to show up in a bold yet loose one shoulder dress, her line seems to lean in another direction. Rachel’s line is filled with ultra tailored looks with a slight androgynous feel and surprisingly not overstocked with fur. It’s no secret Rachel would rather die twice than be buried in anything but vintage and her new signature collection radiates with fresh pieces that scream vintage with a modern kiss. It’s filled with great-looking skirt-suits with bubble hems, long, lean pantsuits, and uh-mazing shift dresses.

The collection, a collaboration with manufacturer Li & Fung, is the first that Zoe herself has designed. Rachel describes the collection as “uptown chic and downtown cool infused with Parisian elegance and London street style.” She recently shared with Woman’s Wear Daily “I’d imagine everybody is expecting something from me that’s kind of a seventies, uber boho-glam kind of thing, and, you know, very accessorized. And it’s not.” The collection which will also feature bags, flats, boots, and of course HEELS is appropriately titled “The Rachel Zoe Collection.” The pieces display some of the best tailoring one can hope for in RTW.

The line is rumoured to be priced from $250 to $700 and although no retailers have yet to be confirmed, Zoe plans to have the pieces on the shelves of specialty and department stores soon.

I think you will agree we will all be going baaaannnnaaaannnnaaasss for this range!! What do you think? Let us know x

John Galliano leaving the Paris Police Station after the hearing.
French fashion house Christian Dior fired John Galliano Tuesday after an online video clip circulated around the world showing its star designer shouting anti-Semitic abuse at people in a Paris bar.
Oscar-winning actress Natalie Portman, who was signed to promote a Dior perfume, said in New York that she was “deeply shocked and disgusted” by the video and no longer wanted to be associated with him.
Galliano, one of the world’s most famous and long-lasting designers, was suspended by Dior Friday, hours after a couple complained to police that he had shouted racist and anti-Semitic comments at them in a Paris bar.
A separate complaint was filed by another woman Saturday for similar behaviour from the British designer in October.
“I very firmly condemn what was said by John Galliano, which totally contradicts the values which have always been defended by Christian Dior,” Christian Dior Chief Executive Sidney Toledano said in a statement.
Paris prosecutors are expected to decide by the end of the week whether Galliano will face trial over Thursday’s incident in the trendy Marais neighbourhood of Paris.
Galliano’s dismissal comes on the first day of Paris Fashion Week and three days before his Dior show was due to run on Friday.
It was not clear whether the show would go ahead, although Monday, the press office of John Galliano, the designer’s own label, said his Sunday show was still on.
Dior is the leading fashion house at LVMH, the world’s biggest luxury group.

The fash-pack were thrown into a tizzy during the usually quiet Christmas period, When the news hit that fashion editrix Carine Roitfeld was to end her super-successful 10-year tenure as Editor-in-Chief at Vogue Paris! As you can imagine, the blogs were buzzing with rumours about who would replace the FROW favourite. Our inital thought was that her right-hand woman (and street-style photographers’ fave!), Emmanuelle Alt, 41, would bag the job. And guess what……..?

Alt, who was previously fashion director, has not only created some very memorable fashion pages but has the Midas touch in championing brands like Balmain and Isabel Marant. ’It is a great honour for me, and also a great pleasure for me to be offered the job of the head of Vogue Paris, which I know so well,’ she said of last weeks ammouncement. When she takes up her new role on 1st Feb, you’ll discover a great USP (that’s unique style point!) to steal.

She’ll never be a bonkers Ana Dello Russo type, or sternly bobbed and barbed like Anna Wintour, nor does she share Carine’s overtly sexy aesthetic. No, Emmanuelle’s signature style is simple. boyish, luxurious rock and always recognisable. Pencil thin trousers (motorcross jeans, tailored pants or skinny leathers!), hugging those endlessly long legs, will most usually be paired with either a leather biker jacket or a sharp blazer.

Emmanuelle, like all the best French fashionistas (Carine included), manages to rock that out-of-bed scruffy hair we Brit girls so envy and she has enough cheekbone to render make-up practically unnecessary. A fabulous ALT-ernative, for sure!!!!!!

SASS & BIDE has unveiled its pre-fall 2011 collection – an offering the designer duo hope will appeal to “the curious and creative”.

“Pre-Fall was inspired by a collection of ideas, places and feelings,” the pair tell us. “You can see cultural influences from Africa and South America in the prints. We explored draping and layering techniques but wanted to the overall feel to remain relaxed and simplified.”
Featuring a gorgeous pair of matte sequinned trousers (the designers’ personal favourite), the collection follows a distinctly tribal theme, with plenty of Aztec-style prints, statement fringing and pared-down draping in muted tones.
“The last collection was really energetic – digital-print heavy and full of colour,” say the designers, Sarah-Jane Clarke and Heidi Middleton. “This collection is more subdued and sees a break in colour and a focus on draping, handmade prints and alternative textures.”
The new range will arrive in stores in May, but you can check it out here http://www.vogue.co.uk/fashion/show.aspx/full-length-photos/id,10106/Page,1

The rise and rise of Olivia Palermo continues apace, with the lady herself dropping another detail about her plans for fashion world domination.
Remember that new TV show she’s got in the works? Turns out that cameras will follow Palermo as she develops her own clothing line, she said in an interview with a Spanish magazine.
Although we’re pretty sure that that was the exact concept behind The City, in which Palermo came across as something of a fashion villain, count us in… Now, can anyone tell us whether this show will make it to the UK any sooner than the last Palermo series?
